Deaf Community Support
We offer Auslan Support services to Deaf/deaf adults and children to assist them with communication in their daily lives. Our support services include community access at school, in the home, with hobbies and events, booking appointments, understanding basic documents and forms. Our aim is to ensure everyone has equal access to communication and information.
Deaf Communications Support
Deaf/deaf clients often feel isolated and left out of the mainstream community. This isolation can result from not having access to proper transportation or not having the ability to participate in activities they enjoy. We are committed to providing a high standard of access for Deaf/deaf adults and children by providing transport to and from hobbies, the beach, social events, or even just a cup of coffee.
Learn Auslan - Tutoring and Courses
Auslan Pay it Forward offers one-on-one tutoring for families with Deaf/deaf adults and children wanting to learn Auslan as well as local courses for Beginners, Intermediate, and Conversational classes. Our courses cater for everyone from hearing people as well as Deaf/deaf and hard or hearing people keen to learn. We have many learners with Deaf family members, spouses, parents, Aunts, Uncles and co-workers all keen learn sign language to support the Deaf community.

Are you an Auslan Interpreter Service?
We are not an interpreting service, we are a support service that provides communication in Auslan for the Deaf/deaf community.
What areas do you service in Melbourne?
We provide Auslan services in the Dandenong Ranges and surrounding suburbs as well as the South Eastern & Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.
Do you provide Auslan support services on Saturdays and Sundays?
Yes, we provide services and support at weekends.
What other ways can people get in touch with you?
We can be contacted by phone/text or email. Face-Time or Zoom appointments can be organised by request.
How often can I receive support?
Please discuss this with your NDIS coordinator. They will let you know how much funding for community access you have or help you apply for funding.
Can you take me to the doctor’s office?
Yes we can attend all appointments as a support worker and can assist with communication but you will also need to book an interpreter if visiting a doctor or hospital. Health appointments need to be interpreted by a certified interpreter registered with NAATI.
